Awaken the explorer in you at Apoka Safari Lodge, located in the remote Kidepo Valley National Park, miles and miles from anywhere!  Track game along a sandy dry river bed fringed with palm trees, climb a rocky outcrop and absorb the magnificent views, take a game drive in an open safari vehicle and virtually touch the wild, enjoy a refreshing dip in the big rock pool overlooking the vast savannah and an eventful waterhole, visit a Karamajong village and learn about this tremendously rich and ancient culture, soak in your private outdoor bathtub under the Africa sky.  And at the end of an eventful day fall asleep in your luxurious cottage, between Egyptian cotton sheets, listening to the lions roar, knowing that you are as far away from any city as you are ever going to get.

The Lodge

• Accommodations in 10 spacious and luxurious cottages (six rooms with one king bed and four rooms with two queen beds) set around a dramatic rock kopje.
• En-suite bathroom with flush toilet, double basins, shower, hot & cold running water, plus a private outdoor bathtub for soaking under the
  African sky.
• Each room features an indoor sitting area, plus a lovely private verandah and spectacular views out across the plains to the jagged mountains
  in the distance
• The main gathering area includes a bar, lounge and dining room, all built with local woods, thatch and canvas. Open year round
