CLOUDS GORILLA LODGE

Clouds Gorilla Lodge will be an exclusive luxury lodge set high on a misty ridge overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famed Mountain Gorillas. Clouds will begin as a deluxe tented camp, while the permanent lodge is constructed.

When completed Clouds Gorilla Lodge will be 8 individual cottages, built in the traditional colonial cottage style using volcanic rock and other local materials.  The cottages will feature verandahs and fireplaces, large beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvets and sitting areas furnished with comfortable armchairs.  Each cottage will have an en suite bathroom with hot water, oversized towels and bathrobes.

The lodge and each of the cottages will offer unforgettably stunning views across the Virunga Volcanoes, and will be the perfect warm and cozy retreat at the end of a day’s exciting trek to view the magnificent gorillas.
