Kapani, meaning "place of the Mopane trees", is a luxurious lodge
situated on a quiet lagoon beside the Luangwa River. The brick chalets are
built with tiled roofs, high ceilings, overhead fans and large windows,
and each has a private bathroom en suite and a lovely verandah. Delicious
meals are served in the open dining room. There is a secluded swimming
pool, a shady viewing platform and thatched "chitenge" overlooking the
lagoon where guests can relax between game viewing activities.

The Lodge

  • The luxurious Kapani Lodge, situated on a quiet lagoon beside the Luangwa River, accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in 8 deluxe suites and 2 “Lagoon Houses”
  • The brick chalets are built with tiled roofs, high ceilings, overhead fans and large windows, plus a verandah
  • Private bathrooms en suite
  • Delicious meals are served in the open dining room
  • Guests relax between game viewing activities by the secluded swimming pool, on the shady viewing platform or in the thatched “chitenge” overlooking the lagoon
  • The perfect base to begin and end a walking safari to one or more of the remote bush camps
  • Open year round
